Paypal’s new logo and website, which has been in the works since back in July, has now gone public. The new website uses CSS and features are more modern look and feel.

As you will notice, I am still unverified. Still waiting for my extended use number. Called up Unionbank today only to be told that it will take 5 days to process (it’s already the second day).

I like the new design of their site OK, but the new logo is perplexing. It’s hardly different at all and maybe slightly worse. Why go through the trouble of confusing people? especially when they have huge problems with spam already.
Hey Chris, thanks for dropping by! I agree that the new logo makes little sense, just like the new Adobe Photoshop logo. This may very well be the year of bad rebranding.

Good point. I wonder if PayPal did market research before they redesigned their logo. Are they trying to retain current customers or get new business customers.
Although things are better, you’re so right about the spam. Until they get that undercontrol, they’ve got a problem.
