Facebook timeline unveiled, beta sign ups accepted

Facebook Timeline, the newest and most radical layout to date, has been unveiled Mark Zuckerberg at the F8 developer conference.

The revelation was made amidst all the noise generated by the most recent batch of changes rolled out on the popular social networking website. It features three main areas: cover, stories, and apps. This short introductory video shows what’s coming in Facebook Timeline.

Facebook also announced that it recently reached a record breaking half a billion users in one day.

Love it or hate it, Facebook with its 800 million users will be here to stay … at least for the time being.
