Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and Coffee – Philippines

2007

Every Filipino who watches the UAAP knows how intense these matches can be, especially during the finals and most especially if your alma mater is one of the contenders. So, I was pleasantly surprised when Greg showed me this page on the Krispy Kreme Philippines website showing four different donuts in four different colors representative of each team in the final four: Ateneo, La Salle, UE, and UST.

From the website:

Who do you think will win? — Join our “Pick the winner” activity! Buy the colored doughnut of your favorite team to “vote”. Check out the tally that will be posted in our stores – Bonifacio High Street, SM Megamall and Greenhills! The Team that gets the most “votes” (which color sells best) until October 4, 2007 gets a Krispy Kreme doughnut party!

Support your team and grab a dozen NOW!

I applaud whoever came up with this cool idea, not just as a fan of Krispy Kreme donuts but for the shrewd marketing tactic. Next time I visit a Krispy Kreme outlet I’ll definitely be on the lookout for people buying these and checking their colors.

Greg tells me to buy the Green one. Shame on you Greg! Shame! :)

Go Blue Eagles!

PERFECT idea to the Krispy Kreme Philippines. I personally like the way you give the 4 colors: Ateneo, La Salle, UE, and UST. There is what about to shame in such situation Greg ! I think Dennison you are bit silly so he dare to tell you so.
Filipino’s have right to think- to the matter, in same way you present.
Thanks for post.
