Microsoft’s Website Displays Cross-Browser Errors

Looks like even Microsoft’s own website is not free from cross-browser display issues. While I was browsing this page the other day, I could not help but notice a couple of issues which appear to exist in all browsers except for Microsoft’s Internet Explorer.

This is how the page looks like, rendered properly in Internet Explorer 6 and 7 (click on thumbnail for full size):

IE7 - thumbnail

Rendering issues become apparent in FireFox, particularly for the search box, footer, and banners:

The search box and footer is not a problem in Safari, although the problem with the banners are still present:

The same problem persists in Opera, and a new problem appears in the search box and footer area:

Shame on you, MS. Shame on you.

Jey Jehzeel thanks for dropping by! I actually have a problem because Widgetbucks never sent me the activation e-mail. Any idea how to get it resent?
