Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition winner is … Larry Martin!!!

Who will be the first ever Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition winner? The wait is over! Larry Martin is the first ever Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition winner! He triumphed over four others — Art, Angela, Hazel, and Raffy.

Here are the rankings of the fab five:

Grand champion: Larry Sienno Galvan Martin
1st runner-up: Art Lim Mendoza
2nd runner-up: Rafael Zayzo Tan
3rd runner-up: Angela Chico-Lupangco
4th runner-up: Hazel Yap Chua

After over four months of hard work, it is down to the final five contestants at Biggest Loser Pinoy edition. The winner will take home 1 Million pesos, a brand new condominium from DMCI Homes, and a Vespa scooter, and 40-inc Sony Bravia Internet television, Whirlpool appliances, and a lifetime Fitness First gym membership.

The second placer shall be award with 500,000 pesos, a Vespa scooter, Whirlpool appliances and one year Fitness First gym membership. The third placer will be taking home 300,000 pesos, a Vespa scooter, Fujidenzo Home Appliances, and one year Fitness First gym membership.

Update (2011-11-08): according to ABS-CBN president Gabby Lopez, everyone from second to fifth place will now receive 500,000 pesos cash!

For eighteen (18) weeks, twelve contestants competed with one another in a series of physical, mental, and emotional challenges. Guided by physical therapists Chinggay Andrada and Jim Saret, the contestant who has worked the hardest will be crowned the Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition grand winner. The show is hosted by Derek Ramsay and Sharon Cuneta.
