We have always been fond of charity work, which is why companies like Marriott Hotel Manila has always held a dear place in my heart. Recently its employees joined forces with the Philippine National Red Cross to conduct a feeding program aimed at victims of typhoon and Habagat from Barangay 191 and Barangay 30, Pasay City.
It is this type of corporate social responsibility that keeps the spirit of giving alive. When a big hotel chain like Marriott shows that it cares about its surroundings, it tells us that the company is being run by a strong leadership with a good heart dedicated to providing excellent service. It really brings a smile to our hearts. Great job, guys!
The recent effects that Typhoon Maring brought to the country greatly affected the living situations of countless families in the metro. With this, the Marriott Hotel Manila joined forces with the Philippine National Red Cross in feeding 1,000 children and elderly in two barangays in Pasay City recently. Spearheaded by Marriott’s Executive Chef Meik Brammer and his Kitchen Team, Marriott and Red Cross reached out and imparted their Spirit to Serve to their neighboring residents. Complete with a huge paella pan, the group arrived in the barangays and showed enthusiasm to eagerly serve food to the less-fortunate members of the community.
