Three big names in boxing are making rounds in the headlines lately.
First, we have pound for pound king Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao preparing for his upcoming fight against Antonio Margarito for the vacant WBC Jr. Middleweight title.
Next, we have the undefeated Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr. who recently got arrested on suspicion of grand larceny for the alleged theft of a cell phone and domestic battery after an ex-girlfriend accused him of beating her in front of their children.
Finally there’s Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton and his cocaine scandal. In the video, Ricky is seen taking cocaine out of his shoe, cutting them into three with a credit card, and then expertly shooting them up his nose with an £20 note.
“And this was one bout in which the two-times world welterweight supremo got really hammered – knocked out by a marathon 10-hour bender including SEVEN lines of coke in THREE separate drug sessions, 11 pints of Guinness, four vodkas, two glasses of wine and several Sambucas.”
It seems that while Pacquiao keeps rising to the top, Mayweather and Hatton just keep going down, down down …
News like this is just really shameful and sad for a sport that has a lot of rules and requires a great deal of self-control and concentration.
