Dell today announced it is expanding its printer solutions to help customers simplify their printer networks with Dell OpenManageTM Printer Manager, its latest powerful web-based printer fleet management tool.
Dell is also partnering with industry leaders Cortado, Nuance and Perceptive Software to provide best-of-breed document workflow and enterprise content management solutions which help enable organizations of all sizes to achieve an efficient and intuitive print environment.

Enhanced Mobility with Cortado
As the consumerization of IT continues to be the norm in the business world, IT departments are tasked with supporting an increasing variety of devices, including employees’ personal smartphones and tablet PCs, placing new strains on compliance, security and productivity.
To address this issue, Dell has expanded its partnership with Cortado, a leading innovator of the business class of cloud desktop services and founder of the Cloud Printing Alliance. As a Cloud Printing Alliance partner, Dell has selected Cortado’s Corporate Server to provide IT administrators with an answer to the complex challenges created by the influx of mobile devices in the workplace. Cortado Corporate Server provides seamless and secure integration of virtually any smartphone and tablet platform into an existing IT infrastructure. This allows employees to access the corporate network and permits them to use traditional desktop functionality while on the go, including viewing, editing, managing and emailing files, as well as printing, faxing and pdf creation.

Nuance and Dell are extending their partnership to help organizations manage document workflows. Select Dell multifunction printers, will continue to ship with the best-selling PaperPort document management software allowing businesses to scan, organize, find, assemble and share documents with ease.
To help customers get the most value from their device and infrastructure investments, Dell is also planning to add additional Nuance document imaging products to its solutions portfolio, including print management and cloud-based document management software.

Enterprise Content Management with Perceptive Software
Dell and Perceptive Software will collaborate to develop enterprise content management (ECM) products to work seamlessly with Dell multifunction printers (MFPs). With Dell’s powerful MFPs and Perceptive Software’s ImageNow document management, imaging and workflow software, customers that face steep regulations on document lifecycles now have the power to collaborate on important documents while protecting its integrity.
