Joyent / Joyeur style cartoons everywhere?

This little guy over here is so famous

While I was moderating the submissions over at CSS Vault the other day, I noticed that the little guy up there has appeared in at least three of the websites that were submitted over the past two months:

Now I am not too familiar with this illustration style. I first noticed prominent usage of this style on the Joyent and Joyeur website:

While a similar style has also been employed in drawing the caricatures used in the Happy Webbies wallpapers:

If our little guy is part of a free icon pack somewhere, I would really love to get my hands on it. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen the female icon used in the Loosers Weepers website somewhere else as well. I love free photos, graphics, and icons and that’s definitely some high quality illustration you got right there, not to mention very web2.0 style.

Does anyone know the source of these graphics? And what do you call this illustration style anyway?

Update: I finally found him! Irene of Ceneri has pointed out to me that these illustrations were done by Chihhang!
