I have been a fan of Monster Energy drink since my friend introduced me to the beverage over a year ago. The first time tasted Monster Energy, I was really impressed.
Nothing tasted like it.
Part of Monster Energy’s novelty is the difficulty of acquiring it. Up until recently the only way you could get your hands on one in the Philippines, aside from importing it directly, was to buy it from specialty import shops like S&R.
Monster Energy lands on Philippine shores
Look no further, Monster Energy fans! Thanks to Crystalite Distribution Incorporated, Monster Energy drink can be found in 7-11, Ministop, and other convenience stores and super markets in the country.
At a press conference held in Makati City, Jorwin Ong, Crystalite Distribution Inc Managing Director, expressed his thanks and surprise for the overwhelming support coming from all the Filipino Monster Energy fans.
In case you have not noticed, but the Monster Energy drink logo, or rather, the “Monster claw”, has been making its way into motorcycles and car as stickers. Just take a ride through EDSA – you may be surprised.
I even have one attached to my ride, a red Honda Jazz named Chloe.
Just for fun, I would buy different flavors and collect the empty cans, as you can see in the photo below.
Currently only the top three flavors can be purchased locally: original green, Absolutely Zero blue, and Khaos orange. Hopefully all the other flavors like my favorite, Monster Energy zero ultra white, will also become available soon.
