On December 20, 2010 the Office of the President released Proclamation No. 84 which declares the following regular and special days for the year 2011:

Unlike his predecessor Gloria Arroyo, Philippine President Noynoy Aquino chose not to move the holidays (to the nearest Monday). Instead, Filipinos will be celebrating holidays on the actual date. Many of these holidays fall on a weekend, so students and employees of business that only run during weekdays will only experience seven (7) days off.

Noy is nothing but a vengeance seeking president much like Erap who wants to nail his predecessor for everything..not everything GMA did was wrong as the holidays of the previous years suggest…family time is drastically decreased because of these ‘Noy’ alterations just to discontinue anything GMA started.
