TAGUIG, Philippines – NBA 2K14 is here, the follow up to the critically acclaimed NBA 2K13. The latest installment uses its predecessors success and features an expanded roster which now includes the top 14 European teams (Euroleague). Lebron James is the poster child for this installment and it introduces a new mode LeBron: Path to Greatness which mirrors the (Michael) Jordan Challenge of NBA 2K12.
The game has an aggregate score of 88/100 on Metacritic, two points lower than its former, NBA 2K13 which ranked at 90/100. Reviewers on IGN gave it a score of 9.3/10, same as NBA 2K13. The game was developed is Visual Concepts and published by 2K Games.

In terms of graphics, NBA 2K14 is visually stunning. It does not change much from the previous version though. Animation is still smooth and players move very fluidly. The textures are high resolution and look amazing on HD display systems, .
Like its predecessor you can play against others online. You can also link your social media accounts like Facebook and Twitter to automatically share your accomplishments with your friends.
It is worth mentioning that NBA 2K14 will be available on two upcoming next generation consoles, the Sony PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. As of writing these consoles are not yet out on the market, but expect the game to take full capability of their added graphical and processing power. The game is also available on PC (Microsoft Windows), PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and on the iOS.
