MANILA, Philippines – It’s a double celebration as Sharp Philippines Corporation (SPC) celebrates its 30th anniversary as well as Sharp Corporation’s 100th anniversary at the Manila Hotel on September 14, 2012 . The event was kicked off by SPC president Takahiro Tanaka, who promises to continue to bring the best quality products to the Philippine market. It was also during the event that the new 80-inch Aquos television was unveiled, which makes it the largest LCD/LED TV available for purchase in the consumer market. Sharp (Phils.) Corporation held a press launch of newest, first-of-its kind products at Fiesta Pavilion, Manila Hotel on September 14, 2012 in line with the celebration of 100th Sharp Corporation Anniversary and 30th Sharp (Phils.) Corporation Anniversary.
SPC President Takahiro Tanaka expressed appreciation to media partners who attended and supported its business developments through the years. Philippine press was welcomed by intricately designed product displays showcasing high-end products and locally manufactured products. With the launching of new Sharp products, he said, “In the Philippines, we are working on various studies to know the current market situation and production of new and quality items with competitive price.”
Aquos 80”, the biggest LCD/LED TV in the local market ever introduced, is revealed to the press with Aquos 70” and Aquos 60”. Its Quattron technology brings viewing experience much closer-to-life. By enhancing the color integrity of red, green, blue and yellow, picture quality can reach its maximum sharpness and vividness while saving the use of energy. Aside from its color precision system, Aquos LCD/LED TV equally boasts its excellent viewing panel.
Sharp’s original plasmacluster ion technology is highlighted by staging PCI products namely French-door refrigerator and beauty products. Known for its revolutionary air purification mechanism, Plasmacluster ion (PCI) products can filter and disinfect indoor pollutants particularly house dust, allergens, molds and virus.
SAMM LCD Videoke is another one-of-its-kind Sharp product serenading the press with brilliant sounds and sights. Replacing the traditional Karaoke, SAMM KCD Videoke is by far the highly functional multimedia system. By combining the sharpness of LCD/LED TV and high-fidelity sound, it has redefined the landscape of local entertainment.
The newest model of fully automatic washing machine is also presented to the press putting emphasis on its hole less stainless tub. Carefully designed hole less stainless tub is proven to reduce the use of water and likewise, built to intensify washing efficiency without damaging the clothes.
