The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered:
“Man. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”

Jane sent this to me today and it really expresses why I have chosen to retire this year. I am ready to truly live in the present!
Today is the day I have to live and enjoy, while tomorrow belongs to God.
Stay In the present Caroline. Just focus on what you are doing this very second all the time. If you get distracted.. recognize it and come back to what you are doing!
